Frequently Asked Questions

From "what to wear" to "how to find the office"... I want this experience to be as effortless and calming as possible. Hopefully these tips and suggestions will help.

01

Where is your office located?

The Park on Main Executive Suites

3750 West Main Street, Suite 245

- On the Southwest corner of 36th and West Main Street, there is a shopping complex called "The park on Main". Once you enter the complex, you will see a two story building in the center of the complex, That is the Executive Suites. It is easiest to park on the south side of that building and enter through the double glass doors just inside the courtyard. You will see the words "Executive Suites" above the doors. If you arrive between the hours of 8-5, a receptionist downstairs will greet you and direct you to my office. If you arrive after 5:00, I will try to meet you downstairs. The doors are locked at 5:00, so if I am not downstairs, just give me a call and I will come down.

02

03

What should I wear to my appointment?

Absolutely anything!

04

This will be my first Ashiatsu treatment.... what is different?

* A full body Ashiatsu massage takes 90 minutes or longer.

* Ashiatsu requires all undergarments be removed.

* The draping, or placement of the sheet and blankets are different from most massage. The drape will be tucked securely and pulled tightly against the skin to ensure that all sensitive areas of the body remain covered. Your comfort and security are always the first concern.

* The way you will feel after Ashiatsu is beyond description......

05

I've been sore after massage in the past. How can I avoid that?

*Drink- It is recommended that you drink AT LEAST your recommended daily amount of water. That means your weight divided by 2 in ounces, each day. For example, if you weigh 160 lbs, you should be drinking at least 80 ounces of water a day. Avoid consuming alcholic beverages the day you get a massage.

*Eat- Choose clean, whole foods.... don't swing through the drive thru on your way home because you're too relaxed to cook.

*Rest- in fact... the more you can lounge and avoid putting your body in positions that compress the spine (sitting, walking) the better your muscles will integrate the stretching and lengthening benefits of massage.

*Soak- A warm bath with Epsom salts will help your body eliminate the toxic waste.

*Pray- Need I explain?
